#Leafs if somehow Treliving is retained and Berube is fired, if Pete Deboer isn’t an option. Im thinking Marlies head coach John Gruden gets high consideration with Steve Sullivan being already one of the assistants. Personally, wouldn’t be a choice of mine.

Defenseman take a lot longer than forwards to development. Typically 300 NHL games before you know what you have.

The demotion of B-O Groulx gives Berube the opportunity to move Quillan up in the lineup & more ice time the final nine games. His questionable roster management should lead to his being fired, but if he does not play the kids more now, he should be let go immediately. #Leafs

@burnsieoriginal @NHL_Muse The Habs have a great History, I admire their legacy, but the #Leafs were the first NHL team to win 3 Stanley Cups in a row. At one time, the Maple Leafs were great.
What can I say though; 5 in a row is another level 🤷♂️

@clara@vanwieren, asm@uch as the #Scep#Sceptres@res killed off@every @pwhl_bos@ton PP in th@e 2nd oft@he 2 March games, took an absolutely #stupid penalty. @43_@kadri, whenwith the #Leafs, had gotten himself ejected from games in consecutive #playoff@yoff series (x.com/davwain1/statu…). I don't care that he stood up to teammates (e.g. x.com/davwain1/statu…) because had he done a better job of doing so, whatever hits he might've thrown perhaps would've been called as minors, and there wouldn't be all this debate about whether the Leafs should've traded Kadri. IDK if the Sceptres will trade van Wieren although I believe there's a need for them to not rule out trading any non-goalie skater should a 2026 #waltercup final appearance NOT be how this Sceptres' season ends.

I'd called Bunting's headshot (x.com/davwain1/statu…), which had occurred during a #postseason (2023) that would end up being his last during a then-soon-to-be-expiring contract with the #Leafs, indefensible, & it may very well be Curl's disciplinary issues catch up to her as they did at different points in the #hockey careers of Bunting, #Kadri & Torres.
