Yesterday, by the grace of God, I was granted the opportunity to meet with people from various walks of life across the 10 Assembly constituencies in Coimbatore district—including the general public, farmers, persons with disabilities, auto-rickshaw drivers, academicians, representatives of MSME associations, laborers, hill-dwelling communities, women, and college students.
அனைத்து மக்களுக்கும் மத்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் பல்வேறு திட்டங்கள் நமது நாட்டில் உள்ளது. மத்திய அரசாங்கம் அதை முனைப்போடு செயல்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. நேற்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதை எல்லாம் கேட்ட பொழுது மத்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் பல்வேறு திட்டங்கள் கடைக்கோடி கிராம மக்களுக்கு கிடைப்பதற்கும் சாமானிய மக்களுக்கு கிடைப்பதற்கும் பல்வேறு தடைகள் உள்ளது என்பதை புரிந்து கொள்ள முடிந்தது.
Our country features various schemes launched by the Central Government for the benefit of all citizens. The Central Government is actively engaged in implementing these initiatives. However, upon listening to the observations made yesterday, I realized that there are numerous obstacles preventing these various Central Government schemes from reaching the people in the remotest villages and the common man.
ஒரு பக்கம் நம் சமூக நீதியை பற்றியும் வளர்ச்சியை பற்றியும் பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். மறுபக்கம் சில கிராமங்களில் இறந்தவர்களுடைய பூத உடலை நான்கு கிலோ மீட்டர் சுமந்து வந்து அடக்கம் செய்ய வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை உள்ளது அதிலும் பல்வேறு தடைக்கற்கள் உள்ளது என்பதை புரிந்து கொள்ள முடிந்தது.சாலை வசதிகள் கூட இல்லாத காலத்திலான வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம்?
On one hand, we speak of social justice and progress; yet, on the other, we find ourselves in a situation—specifically in certain villages—where the deceased must be carried for four kilometers to be laid to rest. Moreover, it has become evident that even this arduous process is fraught with various obstacles. Are we, then, truly living in an era that still lacks even basic road connectivity?
மத்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் “பாரத பிரதமர் சதக் யோஜனா”கிராமப்புற சாலைகளை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான திட்டம். நான் புரிந்து கொண்டவரை ஜார்க்கண்ட் மற்றும் வடகிழக்கு மாநிலங்களில் கிராமச் சாலைகள் மேம்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. திட்டம் தமிழகத்திலும் செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
The Central Government’s “Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana” is a scheme aimed at improving rural roads. As far as I understand, rural roads in Jharkhand and the Northeastern states have been upgraded under this initiative. This scheme should be implemented in Tamil Nadu as well.
ஒரு பக்கம் “சுயசார்பு பாரதம் 2047”பற்றி பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். மறுபக்கம் மாநில தேர்தலுக்கு தேர்தலில் வெற்றி பெற காசு கொடுத்தால் போதும் என்ற சூழ்நிலை. On one hand, we are speaking of a “Self-Reliant India 2047”; on the other, we face a situation—particularly in state elections—where it is deemed sufficient simply to distribute cash in order to secure victory.

Massive social disparities are stumbling blocks to the vision of a Self-Reliant India.
தேசிய நீரோட்டம் இளைஞர்களுக்கு பெண்களுக்கு பொது மக்களுக்கு தொழில் துறையினருக்கு விவசாயிகளுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய மாற்றத்தை உறுதி செய்யும். The national mainstream will ensure a massive transformation for the youth, women, the general public, the industrial sector, and farmers.
