At long last, and after debuting this
#INTERGEO Expo and Conference this week in Frankfurt . . . here is a look at the final data for
#Alcatraz.
As I've said for many years, on behalf of all of us in the reality capture space, "We make the invisible visible." This is a superb ivil war era ammunition magazines, one having been repurposed as the morgue, under the yard . . . the tunnel connecting the powerhouse and the new industries building, the citadel under the cellhouse, and an x-ray view of the lighthouse.
To the entire team . . . our collective fingerprints are on this dataset which will last forever. All future surveys will be measured against this data. A powerful legacy.
The final assembly of all of the data was made possible by the recommendations of Christopher Kercheval and Mack Kowalski who, when I reached out for advice, recommended @LeicaGeosystems Cyclone 3DR. Having tried everything else with no luck, 3DR worked, and here, rendered in @NUBIGON_INC on the @AMD Threadripper Pro powered @Lenovo P8 are the results.
