Something new (old) from @ScarbsTech workbench. Younger followers may not have seen this before. In the 70/80s when fires & being trapped in the car were more common, rules demanded that drivers had an air supply into their helmet to allow them to breathe. #F1 #F1tech #F1retro

Ik denk erover na om mijn verzameling F1-boeken bij te houden dmv van een Excelbestand. Doen jullie dat ook of vinden jullie het niet nodig? #F1Retro

A bit of history, @BrooklandsMuseu marks his 100th anniversary. The birthplace of British motorsport and the first purpose built race track. It will have 100 Grand Prix cars for its milestone tribute on Saturday 8 August #F1 #F1retro

OTDI We were all in Brackley see Ross Brawn lead the reveal of the Honda RA108. Widely derided, this was Brawn's first progress in turning the team around. #F1 #F1tech #F1retro

Today I came across a forgotten 23rd South African Formula 1 driver. Brian Raubenheimer entered the South African Grand Prix in 1965 in a privateer Lotus 20, and he set one lap in practice before the car's clutch broke and his weekend came to an end. He has his own Wikipedia page
