3/28/01 - The #Dbacks traded fan favorite Hanley Frias to Minnesota for C Chad Moeller. Frias had been with the franchise since 1998, and batted .351 over the final five weeks of the franchise's 100-win season in '99. He was not going to make the '01 ML roster, however.

THE COMBO OF THE DAY 🍔🍟 Glasnow 5+ K’s & LA Dodgers ML #Dodgers vs #Dbacks The men in blue are on a roll to start the 2026 season. I can see them getting the series sweep tonight at home. The energy is high and this team can beat anyone in one inning of work. Dodgers have TEg out loud 😂 I have that feeling that the Dodgers could start this season on a serious run. Tyler Glasnow on the mound for them tonight and I expect the LA pitching to keep on cooking. Both Yamamoto and Sheehan recorded 6K’s against this DB’s squad. Glasnow will do the same. He’s coming off of 11K’s in his final spring training game with 88 pitches. He’s dialed in and looks ready to go. He recorded 5+ K’s in every LA home game last year (13/13) averaging 7.8 K’s! Eduardo did look solid against team USA in the WBC. However, he’s not pitched since then and he has a history of struggling vs this Dodgers lineup. Last year, he allowed 6 and 0 earned runs in his two games agaisnt the dodgers but the point still stands, this lineup is so good that any inning could be a 5+ run inning. (1.5u) Cade Horton Under 4.5 Hits Allowed #Cubs vs #Natitude 7-0 on pitcher props to start out the 2026 season & I’m absolutely loving the look here on this one. Horton was DOMINANT to end his 2025 season. In thed a 1.03 ERA and a 0.78 WHIP across 61.1 IP. This was the best stretch of any pitcher during that stretch. 4 Hits in 6 IP & 3 Hits in 5 IP in his last two spring training games and this is also as green of a matchup as it gets to start the season. This Nationals lineup is a bottom 5 offense in baseball… Horton should be able to work around this lineup. The Cubs have one of the best defenses in the whole NL. This helps him out a ton as he’s a high groundball profile. Under In 9/L10 in 2025, I think he starts 2026 doing the exact same thing. 3/28 MLB ⚾️ Pick #3: Eduardo Rodriguez #DBacks o2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (DraftKings -111) For my final pick today we're attacking the Diamondback pitchers again. We cashed Ryne Nelson's over on earned runs yesterday and we're betting on Eduardo Rodriguez to do the same today. where he struggled with a 5.02 ERA and a ballooned 1.54 WHIP, Rodriguez remains vulnerable to high-leverage innings, particularly against elite right-handed power. His recent history at Dodger Stadium is particularly concerning; in his three most recent starts against Los Angeles, he has been tagged for a total of 17 earned runs, including an outing where he gave up six runs in less than three innings. The Dodgers' projected 2026 lineup, anchored by Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Shohei Ohtani, led the league in OPS, ranked 2nd in slugging, and 3rd in wRC+ against left-handed pitching last year, making this a nightmare stylistic matchup for Rodriguez's current arsenal. While his Spring Training metrics showed a slight uptick in fastball velocity, his hittability remains high, as evidenced by the .282 opponent batting average he carried through the second half of last season. The Diamondbacks' bullpen is also currently stretched thin, which may force manager Torey Lovullo to leave Rodriguez in the game longer than usual even if he begins to labor.
