Section 71 #CriminalProcedureCode clearly states that unless a court transfers a case to another court , every offence must be tried by a court within the local limits of whose jurisdiction it was committed or the accused person arrested.

Assalam o Alaikum 💐 If a challan has been submitted to the court, a petition under Section 561 CrPC is not maintainable. Instead, an application under Section 265K or 249A CrPC should be filed before the trial court. #CriminalProcedureCode #TrialCourt #ChallanSubmission
