Crypto.bros’ lack of self awareness in the comments is both hysterical and beyond alarming. #wxtwitter #climatetwitter

There is literally no snow on the mountains out west. Temps are in the mid 40’s. Imagine dropping thousands on a holiday vacation to Vail and getting there and seeing grass outside. This has to be killing the industry financially.

#ClimateTwitter is abuzz with something that's believed to be unthinkable - the 2025 South West Monsoon crossed the Himalayas into Tibet the first time in history 🌧️🗻 Some of the 2025 monsoon data points in North India have been excessive - 18 SW disturbances instead of usual 4-5, North India is 35% excess in rainfall, devastating floods in Kashmir, UK, Himachal etc. Makes for a fascinating Sunday read📖 cc @navdeepdahiya55 @indiametsky @allindiaweather

Monsoon jumps the border into Tibet for the first time in history. This could have implications for climate in the Indian subcontinent because if the monsoon clouds take the precipitation into Tibet then India could have a rain deficit. One possible way to avert this is seeding ut to cross over the Himalayas.
