Lynn McGlothen, pitcher mostly for the #Cubs and #Cardinals, was born #OTD in 1950. An All-Star in 1974, he won 16 games for St. Louis that year with a 2.69 ERA and was ninth in Cy Young voting. McGlothen won 86 career games and threw 13 shutouts.
