This is Krishnamurthy Subramanian – ex-Chief Economic Adviser.
He authored a book titled India@100.
Union Bank bought 1.89 lakh copies of his book by pre ordering it.
Total spend: ₹7.25 crore.
The book was bought before publication; the central office directed 18 zones to buy and distribute to customers, libraries & institutions.
During the UPA era, this would be run as corruption on TV channels but in Modi Govt that wasn't even covered for a second.
This is how easy it is to get away with 'corruption' in this government.
