Today at #NYCACC There are 96 dogs in #ACCFoster 191 Dogs in the shelters Down from over 400 1/6/26 Sadly 45 were killed of the Kill List 30 were gone before Intake or passed in their cages Amazing! An incredible community of people helping these precious dogs👏 #FostersSaveLives #AdoptionisaPassion Now there are empty cages. We have 11 Kill Commands 14 Dogs are Re-listed to be killed 2/12 Currently 9 Newbies on the Kill List for 2/12 So why is #NYCACC KILLING It is not for space @ZohranKMamdani @NYCHealthCommr @NYCCouncil Everyday #NYCACC should keep asking their community, all the social media networkers for help. It works! Create a dog of the day, preferably a #Medical or #LongStay Instead of killing, it is the time for more #AdoptionEvents, #FosterCare programs, promotion such as #BlizzardBuddies #ShelterSweethearts An account strictly to share #ACCFoster content & promote adopting from their homes w/ proper safe guards. Working on supporting #Adopters who "set free" or surrender their dogs. #PetPantries for people to feed their animals during our economic issues. Spay/Neuter programs in the Boroughs.
