@qataharraymond A Ugx 15M #salary earner would therefore get an overall #PAYE tax deduction of 23.333% (3.5M as percentage of 15M) compared to a salary earner of UGX 485,000/= whose overall PAYE deduction is 30%. This is legalised injustice.

@PSSEKABIR @MbaziiraEric 485000 paying 30%, the same #PAYE as someone that earns 10M is very incommensurate & unfair. The former feels this deduction like a knife through their heart. While the tax authority wanted to catch as many employees as possible, some have been left financially incapacitated.
