🏺 𝟮𝟬𝗸𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝟮𝟮𝟱 𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻... 🐎 These ar Roman delights from 87,000 sq. meters of excavation at the #A417's Area 22 and Area 23. Along the historic Ermin Way, the team have been exposing secrets held in the ground for nearly 2,000 years, and one is a #Roman 'mutatio' – a transport caff for weary horses and riders.
