se ar Roman delights from 87,000 sq. meters of excavation at the #A417's Area 22 and Area 23. Along the historic Ermin Way, the team
have been exposing secrets held in the ground for nearly 2,000 years, and one is a #Roman 'mutatio' – a transport caff for weary horses and riders.
Interestingly, this is the same site that previously gave us *that* Roman cupid figurine – Cupid, with a club, posing as Hercules (proving love isn't always delivered with a '
friendly' bow and arrow...
