همزمان با رودخانه لنکران، اوستورو رو(آستارارود) در مرز بین آستارای گیلان و آستارای لنکران طغیان کرده و موجب تخلیه ساکنان چندین روستا شده است. طی چند دهه اخیر تخریب جنگل‌‌های هیرکانی در بالادست حوضه آبریز اوستورورو، همچون گردنه هیران گیلان از طریق ویلاسازی، تغییر کاربری اراضی، زی و همچنین برداشت مصالح از رودخانه آستارا موجب از بین رفتن پوشش گیاهی، افزایش رواناب سطحی و فرسایش خاک شده است. این روند با کاهش ظرفیت طبیعی زمین برای جذب آب، نقش مستقیم در وقوع سیلاب‌های سالانه در آستارای گیلان و آستارای لنکران دارد. #آستارا #لنکران #تالش #گیلان #Astara #lankaran #Talysh #Gilan
