@El lado de Jesús? Jesús fue hombre! Aprendió como hombre y murió como hombre! Siendo Dios mismo. No tenía “lados” era tú, y fue yo. Aprender a conocerlo es aprender a aceptarlo, sin acotarlo, sin ponerle etiquetas, sin llevarlo a “nuestro terreno”. “Soy El que Soy”. #lent #Cuaresma 🕯️

Palm Sunday is tomorrow. Holy Week begins. Join us for the procession of palms celebrating Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem. All four Gospels tell of the crowd shouting “Hosanna!” and waving palm branches, symbols of praise & hope. All are welcome—no exceptions. #ComeAndSee #Lent

Inspired by Lectio365’s Lent Course of Christian small group and personal study & Sunday sermons (the last of which is tomorrow, on Palm Sunday), I have written my monthly column for ‘Christian Today’ on the Desert Mothers & Fathers: #Christianity #Lent christiantoday.com/news/the-deser…
The Desert Fathers and Desert Mothers: radical Christians in the deserts of Late Antiquity

Although the Desert Fathers and Desert Mothers withdrew from society, paradoxically they became deeply influential and impacted on it.

As we enter these final days of #Lent, some of us may carry a quiet disappointment, perhaps things didn’t go as we had hoped. But Lent was never about getting it all right. It has always been about returning, again and again, to the heart of God. Even now, we are not too late. the victory. Easter is coming, not because we are ready, but because He is #faithful. As we approach #HolyWeek, the Church gently invites us back to what matters most: a #conversion of heart, and a renewed desire to walk closely with Jesus. Let this be our quiet “yes” this week; not perfect, but sincere. And in that, we walk with Him. Read more: buff.ly/sh3N88C
