Not careful, not measured, but CONFIDENT. Suggestive ("I'm just asking qUeSTiOns"). Enough to get people thinking they knew something they didn’t. The same people who have ZERO firsthand knowledge about anything, rage typing on their keyboard about how they “know” his wife plotted to have him killed. And once that door opened, others followed. That’s how this works. Influential voices don’t just share opinions, they set tone. And the tone shifted FAST from mourning to suspicion. I watched it happen. What should have been handled with care turned into content. And a grieving wife and her children ended up in the crosshairs of people who will never have to answer for what they said. That’s the part we shouldn’t be okay with. There’s a difference between wanting truth and wanting to be right. One waits. One rushes. One builds. The other tears down. Scripture doesn’t leave this vague: 'You will know them by their fruits.' Not their reach. Not their confidence. Not how many people repeat them. Fruit. If what’s coming out of it is division, accusation, and people going after a widow without evidence… we don’t need a debate about what that is. When Candace exhausts this topic, she’ll move on to the next tabloid style hit piece, just like she’s done time and again. The damage is done, mission accomplished, pockets lined, no accountability. 'But what if you're wrong, Elsa, and she IS guilty of something?' Well, I say what I've said before: I would rather be the fool who offered undeserving grace and kindness than the one who spewed undeserving cruelty. I'm not afraid of being wrong, I'm afraid of being evil. But you do you." My response: When you err on the side of evil, you're on the wrong side.
