If a dwarf approached you saying he had a message for your destiny… would you listen? 🤔
Suzy didn’t… and she lost everything.
Let’s talk
#DeepThinking #LifeChoices
Suzy had been praying for a change in her life for years. As a single woman, she had tried everything net men, moving cities but nothing seemed to work. Every time she saw her friends achieving milestones, she would quietly compare herself to them, feeling bitter and frustrated.
One day, in desperation, she visited a seer known for seeing the unseen. The seer looked at her with piercing eyes and said,
"Your destiny is tied to marriage, my child. You are meant to be with a wealthy man, but you must recognize him when he comes."
Suzy blinked. “But… where will I find such a man?” she asked quietly.
The seer smiled mysteriously:
"By 8 PM, go to the biggest store in your city, by the city gate. There, a man will be waiting for you."
Suzy laughed under her breath. “A man just waiting for me? That’s absurd,” she thought, but frustration had worn her patience thin. That evening, dressed to go shopping, she arrived at the store, determined to “just see what happens.”
At the entrance, she met him. Or rather… him.
A neatly dressed dwarf walked up to her and greeted her politely:
"Hello, miss."
Suzy looked at him, annoyed. “Who are you? Don’t you know your level and class?” she snapped, anger flashing in her eyes.
The dwarf bowed slightly, “My my, miss, I only came to greet you…”
Three times he greeted her, patiently. Three times, she tried to slap him away. Her pride and anger blinded her. “What sort of rubbish is this?” she muttered as she stormed out, heading home in fury.
The next day, Suzy rushed back to the seer, her voice trembling with anger:
"You failed me! You said I would meet a wealthy man yesterday, and instead… a dwarf comes to me! How dare he?"
The seer laughed, a sound full of wisdom and warning.
"The rich man sent the dwarf to call you. Did you answer?"
Suzy froze. “Call me? I… I thought he was just… irritating. I was too angry to listen.”
The seer leaned closer, gently but firmly:
"This is your life, my child. Anger, resentment, and pride are blocking your blessings. All this time, you looked down on the small and humble, and now your opportunity has passed. Your happiness was calling… and you walked away."
Tears streamed down Suzy’s face. “Can I… can I go back? Talk to the dwarf? Meet the rich man?” she pleaded.
The seer shook her head.
"No, my daughter. Your time has passed. Next time, you must change your heart first."
Suzy went home that day with a heavy heart, full of regret, realizing that sometimes it isn’t the opportunity that’s lost but you who misses it.
💭 Moral: Life often sends blessings in forms we do not expect. Pride and anger can make us blind to destiny.
