We would like to wish all our families celebrating Eid a happy and prosperous time. We enjoyed learning all about the festival during our whole school worship led by the children and staff members #cbvalues#eidmubarak
This half term, Year 4 have continued to work hard on their multiplication tables. They have been using Times Tables Rock Stars to improve their fluency. You are working really hard Year4; keep this up over the half term break! #CBvalues#perseverance
A group of Year 5 and 6 pupils were recorded for a BBC bitesize programme called 'Ask the author?'. They can not wait to find out what answers the authors give to their questions!! Thank you to the team involved. #NationalYearofReading#CBValues
Whilst on our Winter walk this week, Reception showed #responsibility by looking for and collecting litter as part of 'Clean and Green' week. We will continue our efforts during outdoor play! #CBvalues
The ECO Team set out into the community with Y4 to make our local environment clean and green. The amount of litter the children found was quite disappointing especially when bins were available to use!
We say, DON'T DROP IT, BIN IT! 💚🚯🚮 #cbvalues#responsibility#clean&greizW
Not only have Year 4 been picking litter in the local area, we have also used it to set up a science investigation. We have buried different pieces of litter we found in soil and will observe it to watch what decomposes and what doesn't. #CBvalues#responsibility
Year 3 braved the weather this morning and showed great dedication while litter picking around the school grounds as part of our Agents of Change month! #CBValues#Perseverance

The Christmas Elves have generously donated a lot of gifts, paper, gift bags and tags ready for their first Customers tomorrow at Elfridges @CanonBurrows #CBValues#generosity
Today was our first collective worship in retelling the events of Christmas. We heard about the thankfulness of Mary in being chosen to be the mother of the son of God and the compassion of Joseph in supporting Mary. #cbvalues
We have received some lovely photographs of Year 4 being presented with their Art Award certificates by the Civic Mayor of Tameside and visitors from @tamesidecouncil. The children used recycled materials to create wall hangings with artist Caroline Coates.#CBvalues#creativity
Mr Jones from Tameside Music Service very kindly led a rehearsal with our Brass and Carols children this morning. We learned lots about how to improve our singing and had fun while doing it! We can't wait to perform at St. Peter's in a few weeks. #CBvalues#creativity
Reception have enjoyed creating their own maps of the local area using toys from the construction area. We talked about places we know that are close to school and were very excited to build our favourite places! #CBvalues#creativity
