Did you know that more than 65,000 kilometers of #waterways flow through the territory of the Republic of #Serbia? 💧 On the occasion of #WorldWaterDay, marked this year under the theme “Where water flows, equality grows”, we highlight the importance of #water as one of the most vital natural resources, the foundation of life, development, and social equality. Serbia is rich in #rivers and water sources, among which the #Danube stands out as one of Europe’s most important transport and cultural arteries, along with the #Sava and #Drina rivers, which have connected regions and peoples for centuries. The #Đerdap area, home to one of the most impressive river gorges in Europe, as well as the meanders of the #Uvac River, further reflect the unique beauty and diversity of our water ecosystems. Serbia remains committed to sustainable water management and strengthening international cooperation in this field, recognizing that water knows no borders and that it connects us, supports stability, and shapes our shared future. By protecting water, we protect life. 🇷🇸

🇷🇸 —————————————————— Did you know that more than 65,000 kilometers of #waterways flow through the territory of the Republic of #Serbia? 💧 On the occasion of #WorldWaterDay, marked this year under the theme “Where water flows, equality grows”, we highlight the importance of #water as one of the most vital natural resources, the foundation of life, development, and social equality.
