First year applying. Didn’t make it.

I won’t pretend I’m not disappointed — but I still want to share this work, and hope it gets a chance to be seen.
I built something a little different:
It turns sound into growing plants you can see,
and you can hear.
When you focus, plants grow.
Each session generates a note.
Every three sessions become your own “focus song.”
I’m trying to explore a simple idea:
if effort becomes visible, can we keep going more easily?
This came from my own experience —
it’s not that we can’t persist,
it’s that it’s hard when we can’t see progress.
So I designed this as a more gentle kind of interaction:
not just tracking time, but reflecting back to you —
that your effort is actually changing something.
I put a huge amount of time into this.
It may not be perfect, but I believe it deserves to be seen.

If this reaches you, I’d genuinely love to know:
is it not good enough — or was it simply overlooked?
And if this ever reaches the Apple team — or even Tim Cook —
I’d be truly grateful for a chance to share this work in an Apple session, and to learn from you in person.
And if you’re reading this,
I’d really value your honest thoughts.
I’m going to keep building this.
