@ESYudkowsky Extinction assumes #superintelligence produces qualitatively superior cognition we can't understand. No mechanism exists for that. What's coming: super-equipped intelligence. Genuinely dangerous. Dysfunction at scale = engineering problem. Fatalism if not the right response.
