The #nascar International #iRacing Series had a fourth race of the season in the books after yesterday's action at Darlington. The race Goodyear 400 with the length of 293 laps showed a lot of action as usually at this one of the toughest place. Our team came there well prepared. ng Series 📓 NASCAR Cup Series 🔴 Race 4 📆 27.03.2026 📌 Darlington Raceway 🏁 293 laps 🇨🇿 Petr Smetana • He had a tough qualifying after hiting the wall and the result was that he started from the back. But he had a very good pace early on and was moving forward. The result was that he finished the opening stage inside the top-ten in ninth, despite some damage on his car. He had to start the next stage from outside of the top-ten. It didn't take long and he was in the eighth place. Unfortunately then he couldn't avoid a car in front of him and that again damaged his car. Petr spent the rest of the stage to repairing his car on the pit road during the cautions. In the final stage, he was showing a good pace again and slowly made his way back to the top-ten. Despite a late caution, Petr survived a sprint to the finish and brought home his car in eighth. 🇨🇿 Jakub Smetana • Jakub had to start the race from the back as he had to serve the penalty from the previous race. He had a really good early pace and was making a progress forward. It didn't take long and he was in the top-five. He could be happy with the first stage after finishing in the fourth place. After a good pit stop and restart, he moved up to the second place and was trying to get in to the lead. In the end, his car didn't have enough pace for that and Jakub had to take the second place. But he didn't say the last word. All was ready for the final stage. Jakub decided to put some pressure on the leader and all this paid off as he took the lead after a mistake by him. Despite a later pit stop, he got his lead back, but then a late caution came out. He put on the four fresh tires and restarted from the second. With less than ten laps to go, he stole the lead again and won the race in a wild finish. 🇨🇿 David Pejchal • David had a very strong qualifying and took the pole. He had a good start and kept his lead. He felt really good there as he had a clean air. The result was that David won the opening stage after leading every single lap. In the next stage, he got in to the dirty air for the first time in the race. David was running still well in the top-five in that stage. After some restart, he took the fourth place in the stage. He didn't feel great in the dirty air. After a good work by his pit crew on the pit road, David moved in to the second place. This was followed by drop to third on the next restart. In this long run, he stayed on the track as long as possible before going on the pit road. He kept his third place, but the next caution ruined his strategy.
