They passed a budget amendment to strip $124 million in Police Protection Aid from any jurisdiction whose sheriffs dare to cooperate with ICE. St. Mary's County is on that list. What does that tell you? They'd rather punish law enforcement for doing their jobs than protect you. It's not about compassion; it's about control. And they're holding your safety hostage to get it.
