The class divide is getting wider. Australia is dividing communities and people dramatically by their wealth. GPs refusing to see bulk billed patients. Diminished affordable rentals. Services stretched. Right now. 🤨 Nobody deserves to be left behind. #RaiseTheRate #auspol

Australians are expected to survive without enough to survive provided. #RaiseTheRate It’s not happening without a lot of unnecessary suffering and pressures placed on others that shouldn’t be happening because #socialsecurity isn’t providing social security anymore. 😔 #auspol

@AlboMP #raisetherate, make public transport free, caps on fuel purchase unless providing a direct public service (aged care, disability support, ambulance/fire, bus, etc.), and fast-track renewables. Oh, and don't increase tax on EVs - cause that is just dumb.

@DavidPocock Labor is perfecting its doublespeak approach to everything, science is critical so cut CSIRO funding, we are helping the people so we are refusing to #RaiseTheRate so keeping 4 million Australians in poverty Labor says one thing & does the exact opposite

It's just like "nobody left behind" - a big fat lie that would make even Morrison blush. #RaiseTheRate, all the rates! #auspol

It feels pretty disingenuous for the Albanese Government to have campaigned on saving the public service from Coalition cuts & promised a new era of transparency less than a year ago then turn around & shrink the public service by stealth. We’ve seen repeated denials of any plan to reduce APS staffing by 5% and yet here we see voluntary redundancies being rolled out across an ever-growing number of departments and agencies. If we taxed gas exports instead of giving so much of it away for free there'd be less pressure on the fed budget. canberratimes.com.au/story/9207631/…

Labor says staffing changes are standard as another department offers redundancies

ACT senator David Pocock lashed out at the shrinking 'by stealth'.

@AlboMP Helping everyone except those on JSA which is still lowest in OECD & deliberately putting 800k+ people in poverty. With the RBA determined to increase unemployment & Big Biz offshoring jobs or using AI as an excuse to sack people that number will only increase #raisetherate

Tackling inflation by blaming people barely getting by & throwing them into deep poverty rather than addressing the profit gouging by companies...It's the Australian Way! #auspol #raisetherate thepoint.com.au/news/260324-pr…
Profit push is back: the increase in inflation is due to profits

New analysis of the national accounts reveals that all of the increase in inflation in the latter half of 2025 was due to increased profits, rather than inflationary pressures from a tight labour...

I call on the Australian government to #RaiseTheRate of all support payments to a living wage. This would be the single most effective way to lift the productivity, quality of life, and well-being of the whole country. #CommitToALivingWage
