Kagame’s Advisory Committee for life, from Christian Angermayer and Scott Ford to the #Pisseur_in_Chief Prof Sir David King (Diablo's own personal scientific adviser!), seems to buy into every grand claim of “stellar progress” touted by e: #RwandAir, arguably Africa’s largest white elephant; “successful” car/ mobile phone/ computer factories in Kigali; #SofiaSofia; the overblown push for sports washing initiative, dragging in many Western clubs at enormous cost (Arsenal F.C., Paris Saint-Germain F.C., FC Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid, and more); a so-called nuclear energy ambition; AI-driven governance; poverty disappearing at an unimaginable pace; and the rest. Anything to dazzle impressionable Western figures.
One wonders how the academic and research institutions that set up new hubs in Rwanda in the wake of the #DTUG are faring today.😂
