Today marks the 49th anniversary of #OperationEntebbe the 1976 #Israeli hostage rescue mission at Entebbe Airport in Uganda.🫤 PM Benjamin Netanyahu paid his respects to his brother "Yoni" who was killed during the operation, visiting his grave on Mount Herzl, followed by ay brought up in the USA & in 1963 returned home, enlisting in the IDF Paratroopers Brigade & fought in the Six Day War as a C.O. He also commanded a General Staff Recon’ Unit in the Golan Heights during the Yom Kippur War & there is a very interesting 2012 documentary film “Follow Me” about his life & final mission.👍
