Finished #OntheCalculationofVolume Book 1 #SolvejBalle Thomas leaves no trail…a pattern in the house, I am a monster in the guest room...a monster in a finite world…How long can my little world endure me…my world has shrunk or I have grown, I don't know which.

Just finished reading Solvej Balle's fascinating 2nd in the series. But wanted to query why a promotion game to the Bunseliga was being played on the 18th November, which represents about halfway through the season, not its climax? #OnTheCalculationOfVolume # #Bookchat #booktwt

#OntheCalculationofVolume Book1 #SolvejBalle I am not saying I have lost hope. It just doesn't come by so often…It was quite undramatic…has found new hunting grounds, like a cat that has moved next door or a plant that has scattered its seeds where they are more likely to grow.

#OntheCalculationofVolume Book 1 #SolvejBalle Our communication, initially meaningful and coherent, turns into a series of fitful exchanges containing neither sentences nor information: little words and sounds meant…to keep the line between us open….

I've just read #OnTheCalculationOfVolume by Solvej Balle. Tara keeps waking up on November 18th ... over and over again. Follow her as she tries to break the cycle (if she can). It is an intriguing, compelling, and superbly written novel. I loved it. I read it in one go. Shortlisted for The International @TheBookerPrizes.
