Yes, the Father is #greater than the Son & is the #only #true #God in the #sense that the Father alone is #uncaused, 'a se', #autotheos, sole source, first principle, monarchia, & Fountainhead of the Trinity. The Word/Son & Spirit are divine as the Father is divine so They are rightfully predicated 'God'.
So, it's because Lord Jesus is the only true Son of God that He is divine as His Father, so, again, He is rightfully predicated #God.
Jn 1:1 and the #Word was #God
Jn 5:18 making Himself equal with #God
Jn 10:33 make Yourself #God
Heb 1:8 But to the #Son He says: "Your throne, O #God
Heb 1:6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God #worship (proskuneō) Him."
Mat 14:33 "... and #worshiped (proskuneō) Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."
Joh 9.38 "He said, "Lord, I believe." And he #worshiped (proskuneō) him."
The Son receives identical forms of #worship {incense, sacrifice of praise & first fruits offerings} as the Most High.
