I finally understand why I can’t seem to cultivate people who surpass me.
Because I’m too serious about what I do—most people aren’t even at 1/10,000 of that level.
They think they’re serious.
But in reality, they greatly overestimate their own level of commitment. 🤣
I’m can split one second into one hundred million parts.
Many people can’t even keep their word on time.
They don’t just miss by seconds—they miss by minutes, sometimes hours.
For us, timing is precise to the second.
I can sell anything—even something worth tens of billions of dollars—in five minutes.
Six minutes already feels too long.
Chinese billionaire Zhou Zhengyi once told me:
“If you really want to accomplish something big, you must be willing to lose face.
If you care about saving face, then don’t do it.
To be honest, you’re paying the price—you’re not deceiving people.
You’re kneeling on the ground, crawling your way to the mountaintop.
And when you reach the summit and look down, you’ll see heaven everywhere below.
That is how you become a standard that no one can surpass.”
Michael Jordan. Zhou Zhengyi. Moses Liang.
Our standards are the same. 💞
And we’re always looking forward to being surpassed. 🥰
