‼️🇺🇸F-35 Hit Over Iran? What Really Happened
On a combat mission over central Iran around 2:50 AM local time, a US Air Force F-35 Lightning II was reportedly targeted by Iranian air defenses.
Iran’s IRGC released infrared video showing a lock-on and strike, claiming they hising their Bavar-373 system or an infrared-guided weapon, calling it the “world’s first” F-35 shoot-down.
The plane sustained damage but did not crash. The pilot safely made an emergency landing at a US base in the Middle East and is reported stable. US Central Command confirmed the aircraft was operating over Iran, declared an emergency, and is now under investigation.
While Iran says the hit came from their advanced air defense, experts believe it was most likely a passive infrared (heat-seeking) system rather than radar, as the F-35’s stealth makes radar locks very difficult.
