Sometimes #LearningAnalytic work is about finding the right icons to help us represent what students are doing. This research with @AustinCorgiBart on CS students' pathways through their class is still in progress, but this is a fun stage.

We used #learninganalytic methods to detect five learning strategies and eight major forms of strategy change adapted by MOOC retakers.

@sjgknight @14prinsp Well, I do think there are positives coming out of natural language processing research that afford deeper insights into discourse & interactions that other #AI or #LearningAnalytic techniques. We just have to be careful about our interpretation of data.
