In our vision for Iran’s future, the Constituent Assembly [democratically elected] will have four key tasks:
* Appoint a provisional government with legitimacy from the assembly, not the Resistance.
* Draft a new constitution for a democratic republic
* Establish temporary laws during the transition (1–18 months)
* Oversee the provisional government
This process will last max 2 years. Then, the new constitution — approved by referendum — will govern Iran as the will of the people. The Resistance will step aside and hold no special authority.
