Principal Maintenance Officers’ Committee #PMOC meeting was held at Karwar Naval Base under #HQIDS. The Future Warfare Course Ser 03 conducted by the Transformation 1 Directorate of #HQIDS, culminated today. The participants were addressed by Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, #CISC. He highlighted the aim of the course and stressed upon the increasing importance of the domains of ion. He emphasised the need for maintaining the “human in the loop” despite the influx of technologies. He exhorted the participants to ensure that we adopt technology to perform better than the adversary. He further said that while the Armed Forces were accordingly restructuring themselves and reworking doctrines, the responsibility of developing the thoughts, proliferating them and ensuring that futuristic preparation seeps into the daily functioning of the rank and file of the #TriService is the responsibility of the participants of the #FutureWarfareCourse. @DefenceMinIndia @SethSanjayMP @SpokespersonMoD @CENJOWS

The website was launched on 23 Feb 2026 as a #TriService Digital Initiative towards #Integration#Jointness of #IndianDefenceForces. The improved website will enable effective digital outreach to the world. The improved website aims to provide a seamless platform to inform the public about relevant #TriService initiatives / policies and connects to all related official Defence sites / Platforms. The website has been made multilingual with use of #AI powered Bhashini Plugin and is available in 23 different languages.
