Anthropic is reportedly considering an initial public offering as early as October 2026.
It has already held early discussions with major Wall Street banks, including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley, about taking lead roles.
Reports say the offering could raise d come after a February 2026 Series G round that valued Anthropic at about $380B following a $30B investment led by GIC and Coatue, with MGX and others joining in.
Anthropic also has strategic partnerships and investment links with Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Nvidia, and has said it plans to invest around $50B in building AI data centers in the United States.
The possible listing has already pushed ETF issuers to file leveraged products tied to Anthropic’s future stock.
Earlier in 2026, the Pentagon tried to limit government use of Anthropic technology over supply-chain concerns, but on March 26 the company won a court order stopping that ban.
Rival OpenAI is also reportedly getting ready for a possible public listing later in 2026, setting up a major contest for public market investors.
