The Good Brothers hope to see a current WWE star win a world championship, and have a run with the title as a heel.
Having joined Judgment Day in June 2022, Finn Balor was kicked out of the faction earlier this month, with Dominik Mysterio commenting that they ve unit“.
While Balor may still be in the Judgement Day orbit, attacking JD McDonagh on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, a former fellow faction member has suggested it’s a good thing for the star.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, former WWE stars Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, a past member of NJPW’s Bullet Club alongside Balor, shared his thoughts on what the future could hold.
Hoping to see Balor win a top title, Anderson said:
“With Finn Balor, it’s the perfect time (for him to leave the Judgment Day). I wish he could’ve left the Judgment Day earlier, and I wish we could have had a really fun run together at some point, obviously.
“Finn’s a top, top, tippy top guy, and this is his moment. I hope he gets a chance to be the World Heavyweight Champion, and he gets to be heel Finn Balor at the top, a heel champion Finn Balor at the top.
“Also, of course, a babyface Finn Balor champion, but either way, I think Finn is a world heavyweight champion, no doubt.”
Gallows would explore the subject of Balor with a world championship further, noting the assets he brings to his work, stating:
“Finn Balor has had star written all over him from the very beginning. You can look at the guy, you can see the presence, you can see the fan reaction. I think both of us, seeing him at the top of his game in Japan and then what he’s turned into, I have to agree 100%.
“A world championship run as heel Finn Balor, it’s money in the bank. It has got to go that way, and I hope we get to see him do it, he stays healthy and he can be the superstar that he has always been at the very tip-top.”
Balor and Anderson crossed paths on multiple occasions during the latter’s time in the WWE, with their last match being a non-televised tag team match in which The OC (Anders & Luke Gallows) defeated Judgment Day (Balor & Damian Priest) in January 2023.
Prior to the pair signing with WWE, they were both members of the Bullet Club, competing in multi-man and tag team action over in NJPW, with Balor then being Prince Devitt.
