On Oct. 22, at 12:52 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) responded to a #FirstAlarm structure fire near the 2600 block of NE 9th Ct. Units found smoke and flames coming from the sixth floor of a multi-story structure. Fire crews conducted a fire attack to extinguish the fire, its source. Firefighters checked adjacent rooms for fire extensions, and to ensure there were no remaining occupants. The fire was extinguished, and smoke was ventilated from the structure. One patient was transported by ground to a local area hospital, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. On Sunday, Oct. 12, at 12:07 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) units responded to a #FirstAlarm fire near NW 132 Street and NW 42 Avenue.    Crews found a fully engulfed tractor trailer at a truck yard. Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and conducted a fast attack to o while protecting the flames from spreading to nearby structures.    Units, including #HazMat, remained on scene working to mitigate a fuel leak.   There were no reported injuries or transports, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. On Monday, October 6, at 3:20 a.m., 17 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) units responded to a #FirstAlarm fire at a recycling facility near NW 37 Avenue and NW North River Drive.   Crews found visible flames and smoke coming from the facility. Firefighters immediately initiated a rior and exterior of the facility, preventing the fire from spreading further. Firefighting efforts involved using hose lines and ladders to attack the fire from multiple angles and to gain a better vantage point of the fire. The fire was brought under control, and crews remained on scene to monitor and extinguish hot spots.   There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.   Responding B-shift units: AIR, B05, B08, B12, D62, E02, E07, E17, E35, HV1, M48, P26, P59, R02, R202, R35, SQD, V08.

On Oct. 1, at 4:21 p.m., 15 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) units responded to a #FirstAlarm house fire near the 2100 block of NE 205 Street. Units arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the structure and quickly began efforts to gain entry and extinguish ed hose lines to attack the fire and extended ladders to conduct roof operations, which included the use of a cellar nozzle. Although firefighting operations were challenging due to the heavy amount of contents inside the home, crews were able to extinguish the fire. One patient was assessed on scene. On Sept. 27 at 10:17 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) responded to a #FirstAlarm fire at a junkyard located near NW 127 Street and Alexandria Drive.   Firefighters found several vehicles in the junkyard on fire. Crews used multiple hose lines and ladder trucks to attack the es.   Due to the need for additional manpower, the incident was upgraded to a #ThirdAlarm fire, with over 40 units responding.   There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. On Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 8:19 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) responded to a #FirstAlarm house fire near the 37200 block of SW 207 Avenue. The fire started in a bedroom and spread into the attic, creating heavy fire conditions. Firefighters promptly initiated a fire iling sections to find any additional fire extension. Because of limited hydrant access, a water tender was dispatched to help supply water to fight the fire. Fire crews managed to place the fire under control and stayed on scene to ventilate the structure. The home was occupied at the time of the fire, but there were no reported injuries.
