Went through the entire list of challenges put out by @India_iDEX. Unprecedented number of challenges (some very interesting ones) under #ADITI, #DISC & #DRISHTI 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. My views: 1) Some duplication. Products already previously developed under iDEX can be adopted / adapted in a quite a few cases. 2) Very empowering rules (including provisions for spiral development) have been already made by the Govt. It is now up to the users (@adgpi @indiannavy & @IAF_MCC as well as the DPSUs) to gainfully utilise them. We need to think differently & foster collaboration. 3) We should consider using ‘BNE’ where feasible instead of reinventing the wheel every time. DIO should break silos, facilitate discussions and encourage collaboration. A product developed under IDEX for one service must be cross-purposed. That is how the ecosystem comes up. It is NOT the grants but the support in terms of handholding & most importantly orders which startups need @drajaykumar_ias @giridhararamane @nitingokhale @acorn @kakar_harsha @Viv_Krishnan @VrindaKa @NeelTardid @hvtiaf_bharat @KRANTII01 @SAK02209619 @cdf_23 @SanjayJSingh1 @Kbsingh03

- Digital doesn't look as good as DISC (specially 4K UltraHD). - Digital can be taken away at any moment, DISC don't. - Digital can be manipulated by the studio, DISC don't. - Most DIGITAL copies don't have extras, most DISCS do. - There are a lot fo movies that don't have digital, but they are on DISC. Nothing against digital, but DISC rules over digital.
