Reading this, you might think it had been an unduly traumatic legal battle with her father. She'd actually been:
-removed from her parents by the state,
-placed into state care,
-gang raped (reportedly by migrants imported by the state),
-euthanised by the state
I'd say the state had more to do with her death than a "long legal battle with father".
