🇨🇦 Time to Reclaim Canada’s Banking Sovereignty
For 150+ years, only Canadian banks held and protected our most private financial data.
In 1980, the government opened the doors to foreign banks. HSBC arrived in Vancouver in 1981, artificially inflating housing prices and helping push interest rates over 20%.
Now that HSBC has fully exited Canada, we have a historic opportunity to close the door for good and protect Canadian citizens’ banking information in Canadian banks only.

This person’s mother came to Canada on visit visa & then applied for refugee status without telling the person.
Now mom wants to apply for refugee benefits / social assistance using the person’s address & the person is apprehensive whether it could affect them in any way.
