When building #buildtorent townhomes, I hate hate hate fire suppression. If you have the option to NOT do it, don't. It's expensive, a pain in the butt on annual inspections. But doing a fire rated wall instead? Less noise between units. Lower vacancy and higher tenant satisfaction over time.
