A shining community‑driven effort from Grameen Bharat
In #Dhule District of #Maharashtra, the villages of #Baripada, #Mohgaon and #Chavdipada, through the active involvement of their respective Gram Panchayats, have shown how community participation can strengthen national in consultation with their Panchayats, have voluntarily chosen sustainable cooking practices such as solar cookers, smokeless chulhas etc, while easing pressure on urban LPG demand.
This community‑driven effort will continue for the next six months with the guidance of the Gram Panchayats. The collective decision reflects the spirit of self‑reliance, and it is a shining example of how rural communities, guided by their Panchayats, can contribute to sustainability and inspire the nation.
