#Archlinux #KDE

#Archlinux #KDE

Looks like Archlinux is running cover for someone adding Age Verification to multiple Linux distros. Saying "noticing" it is breaking CoC. Guess its proprietary software and they are adding it whether you want it or not. Looks like its gonna need forked. #Arch #Archlinux

At least Valve still has some common sense (for now) otherwise #SteamOS is cooked. But #ArchLinux (and by definition #CachyOS) is done after doing this. Bending the knee to glaze police state BS is the last straw.

This is why BIOS/(U)EFI is important. Because when the OS bricks it (without them), the device is bricked. But if the OS bricks the device (with it), there’s a chance at just re-installg and getting it working. Today, #archlinux upgrade bricked one of my switches #IGuessIWillDie
