#AEW #AdamPage An update on ‘Hangman’ Adam Page’s AEW status following his Texas Deathmatch defeat to MJF at Revolution 2026. AEWs first pay-per-view event of 2026 took place last Sunday, when AEW Revolution took place in Los Angeles, California. The main event of the show saw d Championship in a Texas Deathmatch against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, with the added stipulation that Hangman would never again be able to challenge for the AEW World Championship if he lost the match. Hangman would indeed end up losing the match, preventing him from being able to challenge for the AEW World Championship again. ‘Hangman’ Adam Page’s AEW Future The end of the match saw MJF choke the life out of Adam Page in a move similar to how Hangman submitted Jon Moxley to win the championship back at AEW All In Texas in July. Hangman would end up being stretchered out following his loss, with his blood stain on the camera lens, and there has now been an update on Hangman’s status within the company. Per Fightful Select, Hangman is set to take some time off from AEW television following his loss to MJF at Revolution. It is not known if the time off will begin immediately after the event starting with tonight’s Dynamite, or if he will appear on an upcoming show and be written off, nor is it known how long his absence is expected to last.
