I have supported Donald Trump strongly from the beginning without hesitation. But moments like this make you pause. Did he really say that? MBS is an asslicker? Referring to Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, in such a manner? A nation that plays a central arkets and whose long-standing economic relationship with the United States has had significant implications for the dollar and global finance? This isn’t just about personalities. It’s about posture. Diplomacy. Respect between nations. Because words from a sitting U.S. President don’t just echo, they signal. To allies. To adversaries. To the world. And when that tone shifts into something more abrasive, more personal, it raises questions not just about intent, but about consequence. We’ve seen boldness before.
