Back when Dutton was opposition leader he sent his attack chihuahua, Jane Hume, in to announce that a Dutton-led coalition government would mandate a five-day return to the office for Commonwealth public servants. This attack on workers via the coalition and the RW media wasn’t workers - apparently everybody should be getting back to their workplace because according to Jane, working from home was somehow less productive than working in a “real workplace”. Dutton had to do a triple backflip to counter the worker backlash that the coalition received. Jane had to go into hiding, until she resurfaced again to float the Chinese-spy lie. 🙄 I find it ironic that RW media and the coalition spent months flogging Labor and unions regarding working from home and the right to disconnect… .. particularly now The Australian is floating the idea that working from home might be the current answer to the fuel crisis for workers. Right-wing memory is selective and opportunistic. It’s also engineered for 3-second attention spans.
