A mozda Tasa predstavlja civilno drustvo?
Svakako je udobnije setkati izmedju Pariza i Brisela, nego trpeti ovaj nedozreli narod kojeg samo prosveceni apsolutista (trep, trep) moze da spasi...
In Paris, at MoDem headquarters, the European Democratic Party brought together key Serbian opposition forces and civil society for honest discussions on Serbia’s European future and the future of the Western Balkans.
Alongside our Secretary General Sandro Gozi and Vice Secretary we witnessed unity, determination, and a deep love for the country — but also a clear conviction: Serbia belongs in Europe. Its future, built on rights, freedoms, and the rule of law, is inseparable from European integration.
Today, however, Serbia is being held back. President Vučić and his government have failed to lead the country toward Europe. Instead, they have built an increasingly autocratic system — weakening checks and balances, restricting media freedom and free speech, and fostering corruption and opacity. Internationally, they continue to play a двойную игру, flirting with Putin while claiming a European path.
As European Democrats, we stand — and will always stand — with the Serbian people. With the students who have reignited hope. With all those who fight, every day, for democracy, freedom, and the rule of law in Serbia.
