@OurOwnNation This is assuming our economic system won’t be affected by AI and Robotics / automation. I envision something like that being so monumental because it probably would solve the issues you say we are heading towards, issues of the past, scarcity issues. We just need more Whites.

@I agree with you @on both things.T@here isso much snake oil being sold, and as someone who builds products that actually solve security problems for businesses, it is very frustrating to see. Many talented developers and researchers struggle to articulate their value propositions in a way that's usable for sales. And of course, most salespeople do not have the technical background to really get the tech either. The ideal solution is to have someone like me, with a technical research and development background, in an evangelist role to help translate technical details into understandable, digestible sales copy.

So you vibe coded your app. Then people started to use it and when edge cases caused issues for your users that AI couldn't solve, you worked out that vibe coding wasn't the means to an end that you thought it was, but that it was another form of perpetual enslavement to keep you working for very little reward.

AI feels like magic sometimes—it's wild how it can turn our words into art or help us solve problems we never thought possible. The future is definitely going to be interesting!

@Mbakaza4L You can’t solve homelessness because the victims of it are largely at fault by their own choices.

The best solution to solve OpenClaw silent fails is to put Claude Code on your desktop and have it run a scheduled daily check of your openclaw set up and skills. It catches many of the config issues and where it will likely fail, before it does!
EvanDataForge EvanDataForge @EvanDataForge ·
@RobAverow That's the promise! I'm experimenting with 3 agents myself. Biggest surprise? They fail silently half the time. Added a simple status dashboard (OpenClaw SessionWatcher) to catch stuck runs. Silent failures are the hidden cost.

@The ‘prob@lem’ with that train of thought is that left unchecked, the AI will most likely reach the conclusion that humanity is the problem, which it totally is. Humans are flawed, self-destructive, sinful and evil. Pure logic would dictate, delete humanity to ‘solve’ the problem. You are essentially creating a machine god that has no morals, feelings, love or compassion. That is a recipe for disaster.

@RedWavePress San Francisco has proven that you cannot throw enough money and "compassion" at the homeless problem to solve it. If you could, they would have solved it 10 times over by now. They spend so much money and have so much "compassion", and the problem only ever gets worse. 🤷‍♀️

💊Aversion to GLP1s is a nasty trait I think. Basically arrogant skinny people disappointed they can't lord it over fatties anymore. I've always been thin and I'm very happy people with weight problems can effectively solve them easily. Wish they'd find something for baldness! 😀

Taking GLP-1 drugs is like driving a car. Yes, you could walk. Yes, driving can cause accidents, costs money for petrol, etc. But if you need to get somewhere far away, it will be a LOT easier to drive. And if you need to do a long journey EVERY DAY, it'll be way easier.

@IanRunkle I considered it w/ the Steam sale. Read that the monsters make it horror-like, so went straight to Nexus to see if mods exist to solve that. (At this point in my life, I don't need horror.) Turns out, they do...but I didn't grab it. nexusmods.com/games/subnauti…
