Scripture calls all believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122) while fixing our eyes on the Kingdom and the return of the King. Jesus returns to earth to make ALL THINGS new. That is the Kingdom and it will be in Jerusalem, whether we like it or not. Yes, we partake in a portion of Kingdom living now through the Holy Spirit, Praise God! However we still await and live with the urgency and expectation of Jesus, returning, restoring His kingdom to Israel, Hence “Son of David” Hence “Son of Abraham” Restoring our bodies via resurrection Restoring Eden Restoring the earth The heavenly places we access now via the Holy Spirit, during this present evil age, doesn’t nullify the fullness of the future restoration of ALL THINGS. @The reason I am not Catholic today is because no church should kick out anybody for asking questions I also don’t believe that the Catholic Church teaches the word of the Lord properly We are told not to have an idol or pray to an idol But you idolize the pope So being kicked out as a child was OK because I am a student of the Bible The Lord Jesus Christ preached anywhere because he is the church. The building is not the Lord. Silver and gold displayed in a church honoring worldly goods wasn’t for me I would rather sit on the grass and tattered clothing and walk with the Lord But that your religion and I am not going to dishonor you for it We both believe in the great mighty Lord, and that is what it’s important
