It's way too easy and lazy to slap the "racism" label on every wrestling booking mystery without any real evidence, especially when WWE has elevated plenty of Black superstars like Bianca Belair, Big E, and Kofi Kingston to main-event PLEs over the years. Carmelo d charisma to go far, but defaulting to that narrative dodges the actual mechanics of how matches get chosen.
WWE's PLE cards are limited real estate with a stacked roster and specific narratives being pushed at any given time. It could be about timing his push, building him stronger through weekly TV first, prioritizing other storylines, or just the competitive depth across brands—none of which has anything to do with skin color.
