@MadKamikazius We talk too much about Tolkien & yet we seem to forget writers like Howard, Le Guin, Peake, MacDonald, Jordan & even Dunsay and the contributions they've provided to the genre. We overhype one & always seem to forget the others and what place they have in the genre.

@TheFleetZone I’ve been critical of Wright for not bringing in more signings, especially when you look at other teams around us. But when Lennon Peake gets minutes it’s like he’s a new signing, consistently a joy to watch, he has to start more games and we’ll have a shot at promotion. 🫡

Gorgeous story about Maxine Peake: When barristers were protesting outside Westminster a few years back, with an early-morning press call, she bowled up in a taxi, asked one of my mates if she could borrow her placard, and stood at the front, knowing that just being there would mean we would get proper press coverage for it. She was, after all, Martha Costello in "Silk". She is, and always will be, an absolute queen. x
