@cirnosad The US was always weaker in PACOM, but still dominates in Outer Space and will make a nuclear attack on CN in the 2030s: x.com/r0manr0ad/stat…

This is a very important point but also often misunderstood: the US empire is prepping for one last assault, but the Hormuz issue is just periphery. The 'last gasp' will be outer space, and the plan for a very quick 'thermonuclear blitzkrieg' on CN based on space-based BMD.

PACOM has more revetments (and hardened aircraft shelters) than CENTCOM. However at some point it’s a numbers game. During the 1920s, Japan exchanged fleet size for regional parity and building up island fortresses over two decades. It also strategically didn’t work (for many reasons). MILCON (an entirely separate budget) should have increased over a decade ago. One example of “progress” are sunshades to obstruct satellites. But it’s impossible to build enough shelters. So a combination of cover, concealment, shuffling, and bombing faster. Functionally, moving aircraft within X days (the enemy’s targeting cycle) mitigates most of the risk, by trippling weapon expenditures.

@ColbyBadhwar Dan wants to frame Iran negatively because of his acute TDS. He’s choosing to leave out the stockpiles in Conus, Eucom and Pacom in addition to new production

@vcdgf555 Don’t forget the denominator: the Middle East stock, not conus, Eucom or pacom stocks in addition to new production

THAT is why we're stripping the PACOM of THAADS... We're selling missiles and buying 5.56 from Federal!

I do agree that if China was to move on Taiwan now would be the perfect time, with so many US naval and air assets redirected from PACOM to CENTCOM. However, I believe if China doesn't then it goes to show how fearful the CCP are of the Trump administration. Peace through strength. They know not to try us at least not during this admin.

Multiple non-routine US force movements into CENTCOM: C-17 surge, 82nd Airborne on alert, 2 MEUs afloat, fighters pulled from EUCOM/PACOM, carrier density rising. This isn’t just deterrence. It’s shaping for limited ground ops while keeping escalation flexible.

@JdotgdotChan @lookner CENTCOM means, in all contexts, Central Command, which is the United States Military theatre headquarters that includes the Middle East. Other theatre commands are PACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, SOUTHCOM, and NORTHCOM.
